Welcome back Cre8ors to our weekly newsletter, where we will dive into the captivating lore we introduced this week. Our team has been hard at work, weaving together the ideas and suggestions from our incredible community to create a cohesive story that leaves you on the edge of your seat, eagerly awaiting what comes next.

Our community is built upon the belief that creativity knows no bounds, and we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where all forms of creative expression are welcomed and celebrated.

From a bustling metropolis with a forgotten name to the rise of a formidable force known as Everything Corp, our story is brimming with intrigue and suspense.

In the upcoming weeks, we eagerly anticipate collaborating further with the Cre8ors community to expand upon the intricate layers of our story. Your invaluable input and creative contributions have already enriched our narrative, and we are excited to continue this collective journey of imagination and storytelling together.

The Old World - 1923

Our story starts 100 years ago, in a bustling metropolis - full of dreamers, idea-havers, builders, and innovators. The city consisted of eight creative boroughs that together made a Mecca for creativity, culture, inspiration, and renaissance. The city once had a name but there isn't a person alive today who remembers what it was...

One day, a group of outsiders came to town. They called themselves Fixers and told the Old World of an economic and vocational improvement league called Everything Corp. that made everything, better.

True evil lived within Everything Corp, whose thirst for power and control spread across the Old World. It started with a factory, built in the center of the city, employing all citizens while gushing smoke that covered the city in soot. Citizens started calling the Old World "The Black and White City".

The life expectancy of a factory worker was short and Everything Corp had a solution. Every ten years there was a city-wide "personality test", mandatory for every citizen. If you couldn't meet the cognitive requirements, you would be forced to "retire" and subsequently meet your fate.
Death.

Over the course of 100 years, Everything Corp sucked the soul from the Old World, extracting all the creative DNA from the citizens to maintain control, enslave, and drain it of all color and creativity.

Black & White City - Present Day

Our main character, Octavia, lives in a shanty home on edge of the city with her father, a hard-working technician. One day, on her birthday, he gifted her with a bag of coins. They were just enough for a new pair of shoes she desperately needed.

While unpacking the coins, one stray coin rolled out on its side and met a crack in the floorboards. She prodded and pried the floorboards until one finally popped. What she found was going to change everything.

We are excited to continue collaborating with the Cre8ors community in the upcoming weeks, as we build the next chapters of our tale together. Your amazing ideas and creative contributions have already made our story incredibly exciting, and we can't wait to see where our collective creativity takes us as we unfold the next chapter in our lore. 🧬
